| we begin 2010 with happy hearts, enriched spirits + bountiful blessings. we're humbled + truly grateful for all the inspiring moments in 2009 both personally + professionally and we have our phenomenal team, rock solid family, loyal friends, brilliant colleagues + amazing clients to thank for every single bit of it! we're pumped for all the new adventures over the next 365 days + have a sneaky suspicion it's going to be our best year yet! here's raising the glass to all wonder that awaits each + every one of you in this new decade!

| our very clever + very creative brother in law..also known as roger + also known as our beloved graphic designer [lucky us] whipped up this little ditty for us to send out to our recent clients, favorite vendors + a few others this holiday season! he created the design then stamped the layers onto balsa wood to create these postcards and we loved how each one looked slightly different due to the variations in the stamping process. i hand addressed the backs of all of them [although this digital file has been lovingly addressed to all of our fabulous readers!] and then kissed the big stack of them goodbye before i handed them over to the post office clerk so she could hand cancel each one before they made their way out into the world. we wanted to share the holiday sentiment with everyone that takes the time to follow our work + cheer us on with your heartwarming comments + wonderful emails! we wish we could have personally sent a postcard to each + every one of you but even if we had all of your addresses, i think roger's hands would have fallen off from all that hand stamping! |

| our cup seriously runneth over in the blessings department! to all of our friends out there celebrating thanksgiving, we wish you a very peaceful + happy holiday! we'll be spending thanksgiving with our two greatest blessings and with about 100 other relatives on a 400 acre family farm. there will be lots of laughing + hugging + eating + eating + more eating! also, a big happy birthday to my mom today! [cue for the beatles birthday song just for you mom, haha!]
xo, cristen + scott ps...totally unrelated but, what are your favorite holiday movies? scott + i have vowed to watch an insane amount of holiday themed-ish movies [ie, make time to relax!] as many evenings as we can during the holiday season + would love some good recs. please leave us a comment with your favorite titles. we'll randomly select a person to send some movie gift certificates to so please leave an email address! UPDATE: thanks everyone so much for the movie recs! those are all fantastic holiday movies + are on our list to watch again this year! rychelle is the lucky winner for the movie tickets! |
