happy first day of february! we are happy to introduce katie + josh today! katie is also scott's cousin + brittany's sister so yep, that's right ---> two weddings for their parents in the same year! i know i've mentioned before that scott's family has a HUGE reunion on a farm in north florida every year for thanksgiving (if you follow us on instagram cristenchester / wscottchester you have probably seen some snaps at the farm). well, there are usually about 90-100+ family members at the reunion AND there is even a talent show on thanksgiving eve! this year at the talent show katie + josh did a swing dance and it ended with his proposal! she was totally surprised + it was so magical to watch it unfold! our girls still talk about it! here are a few frames from their session while visiting in atlanta a few weeks ago.....

katie + josh we're so happy for both of you and can't wait for the wedding in june!

happy friday! we're so happy to share a few frames from brittany + jimmy's engagement session today! brittany is scott's cousin and we're so happy she found her perfect match! scott's mom has a house on a river in north florida and brittany has always loved visiting the river (her family has spent many a summer there!) so she really wanted to incorporate that environment into their session. it was a beautiful afternoon + we were so happy to get the chance to know jimmy better, too! here are some of our favorites.....

happy friday! our house is all abuzz with holiday merriment! we've been crafting + baking + eating way too much of said baked goods : ) the girls have been having so much fun seeking out the hiding spots of our elf each day + secretly i think we've been having even more fun with the whole thing!

we're so happy to present our last wedding of the season! julie + matt we're married on 11.11.11 and they had such a sweet + intimate celebration at sotto sotto in atlanta. it was the very first wedding at the venue + it was a perfect place for their wedding. scott + adam were treated more like guests than working vendors and

congrats again julie + matt! we've loved working with both of you + wish you so much happiness together!

happy monday! we're so excited to reintroduce meredith + zack (remember their engagement session? those top few images are still some of my all-time faves) meredith is scott's cousin and the wedding celebration took place on her grandparents 400+ acre farm in north florida (which is where we go for a family reunion every year at thanksgiving). so many homespun details + our girlies were so excited to be guests and watch dad in action-- and hang out with all their cousins : ) here are some of our favorites images from the day......

happy friday! jessica + cody are avid hikers, nature lovers and overall adventure seekers. it seemed perfect that they suggested having their engagement session at the tallulah gorge state park. scott had fun hiking 1000 feet down into the gorge with them + getting to know them better! here are a few of our favorite frames....

happy friday! we're so excited to share this wedding with you today before we step into the weekend! the fabulous duo of emily + megan at enjoy events co pointed chandler + john in our direction and we knew the collaboration would be a perfect fit! the wedding was at durham valley ranch which is an exclusive vineyard property in st. helena. absolutely gorgeous. scott + adam were thrilled to be a part of their celebration + here are a ton of our favorites from the day.....
