we keep pinching ourselves to see if we're in some sort of technicolor dream or if we truly have the perfect job that allows us to work with such brilliant couples each year. we're finally convinced that we're just very very lucky! enter melissa + aj into the equation...they are the kind of couple that just lights up a room. they're fun, charming, stylish + have an amazing connection with each other. melissa's exuberance for all things wedding has been so exciting to be a part of, too. i love getting emails from her + hearing about the details of their wedding as they unfold! so when it was time to chat about the vision + feel of their engagement session, i knew that she would have some fantastic ideas! scott has a bit of an obsession with vintage cars + has a few of his own and i knew that one of them would work perfectly for the shoot. i just love the way the images turned out + here's just a few that we're totally smitten with....

happy friday everyone! what a great wedding we have to share today! kayte + david were married october 4th at king plow arts center. of course bold american was on hand for florals + catering [we love bold!] i've got more details to share along the way but let me get on to the images since this is a gigantic post!

kayte's dress was a custom melissa sweet gown and the best part is that she had them create pockets for her...anyone that knows me, knows i'm partial to dresses with pockets : ) and the kate spade shoes were this really pretty iridescent color!

kayte looked absolutely stunning!

all the girls had these wonderful handmade hair pieces from house of tesla

david is such a cool guy + if you ever need to know anything about good wine or champagne, he is your guy! you would not believe the selections that had flowing at the reception.

kayte commissioned courtney j. garrett to create a painting for david + he commissioned john tindle to create a piece for kayte. so sweet

kayte used oil painting tubes for the place cards for guests...love this idea since the venue is an art gallery
