what are the chances that two couples that are great friends both get married on the same day AND both use our photographers?!? well, it happened with jen + gary and laura + brian! both couples said i do on september 12th [at different venues, of course] and our rad associate, adam was the lucky photographer to capture all the magic of jen + gary's amazing wedding at endive! a big thanks to john [one of our second photographers] for his creative eye, too. here's just a few of our favorites sprinkled with a bit of scott's post processing...

HAPPY FRIDAY! HAPPY BIRTHDAY! HAPPY MY FIRST WEEK OF BOOTCAMP IS FINALLY OVERRRRRRR!!! so much fun stuff going on this weekend, i just had to take a minute to talk about it all. well, first up...it's my brother in law's birthday! yay for birthdays! yay for having the best bro-in-law! we love you roger! and we love my sister for marrying you! one of our dearest friends + former wedding client is in town this weekend + we can't wait for chill time with her tonight for the birthday boy festivities! she is a brilliant artist + we practically have an exhibit of her work on the walls in our home! next, if you live in the ATL there's a good chance you may be pumped about going to this tomorrow! and i bet you didn't know that my uber talented bro-in-law [yeah, the birthday boy mentioned above] designed the logo this year! it's been super cool seeing the posters hanging around town for the last couple of weeks... if you have not been living under or rock or if you have kids, you will know that this movie opens in theaters today! can't wait to see it! finally, we've got goosebumps we're so psyched about their wedding tomorrow! i even get to be a GUEST!!! scott + adam will be shooting the wedding. well folks.... happy friday everyone! speaking of which, it was a handful of fridays ago that we had the greatest fortune of meeting sabrina + reg initially to chat about their upcoming wedding. we were instantly blown away with them as couple, as individuals + as professional educators/artists and felt an immediate connection within minutes. they both are well-respected published authors + professors, which makes me a little nervous about my 'story telling' here, but really there are not enough superlatives to express just how thrilled we are to work with this brilliant couple! so when scott returned from shooting their engagement session last week literally beaming i was not surprised in the least bit! he started the session at their home in athens + then added a few other spots into the mix that reg + sabrina had been thinking about. he loved spending time getting to know them better + really enjoyed the rich conversations while photographing a couple that was incredibly comfortable with each other + with being in front of the camera. that is just a win win session in our books! so choosing just a few favorites to share today was quite the challenge since i'm literally smitten with ALL the images from their session!

so when scott arrived at their house this butterfly landed on his hand + stayed their for a bit and he passed it off to sabrina...reg dubbed her the 'nature charmer'!

we could not be happier to announce that our associate photographer adam + his lovely wife courtney have joined the ranks of parenthood! their beautiful baby boy was born last week + here's a few photos adam sent over from the first day. he is soooo adorable + holding him definitely made me miss when our girls were new babies! WELCOME TO THE WORLD OWEN ISAAC!!!
